About this catalog
AfterDark Plays is an independent editorial project that catalogs free-to-play adult games. This page explains who is behind it, how facts are checked, what we refuse to publish, and how the site is funded.
Who we are
A small independent team that has been tracking free-to-play adult games since 2025 and running single-game guide sites for several of them. AfterDark Plays, launched in August 2026, is the shared catalog those guides were missing: one place where the store facts of every game are kept side by side and re-verified on a schedule.
We are not a studio, a publisher or an official partner of any game. We do not sell game currency, and we do not run a Discord or forum where accounts are traded.
What we publish — and never publish
We publish: facts from the Steam store record (release date, developer, publisher, platforms, genres, price status, DLC count, interface languages, minimum specs, content descriptors); the developer's dated Steam announcements; promo codes that appear in those announcements, with dates; editorial descriptions written in our own words; best-of lists with explicit criteria.
We never publish: modified APKs or links to APK mirrors; promo codes without a dated official source; scores, star ratings or "9.4/10" style numbers; copied store descriptions; invented characters, events or mechanics; claims about a game's future roadmap that the developer has not announced.
How facts are verified
Every game profile is generated from a stored copy of the Steam store's public app record, retrieved programmatically. The retrieval date is printed as "facts verified" in the Key Facts table. Announcements come from the game's official Steam news feed and are listed with dates and links to the originals. Promo-code status is re-checked on a fixed cadence and whenever a festival is announced; the check log on the promo codes page records each check, its source and its result.
Where a game has no public store record — Lust Frontiers, whose Steam page is listed as coming soon — the profile says so instead of filling the gap with guesses.
How the site is funded
Through affiliate and tracking links. If you start playing a game via a link on this site, we may receive a commission from the developer's partner program at no cost to you. Such links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code and open the game's official entry point. Commissions do not affect which games are listed or how they are described. They do affect placement in one disclosed way: the games whose developers run a partner program we take part in — currently Lust Goddess, Passion Industry, Horny Villa, Everlusting Life and Lust Frontiers — are shown first in the catalog, in the related-games blocks and at the top of every best-of list, and each list carries a placement note saying so; inside each group, the list's stated criteria decide the order. No game pays a fee to be here, and no developer can buy a position.
Our other sites
We operate single-game guide and promo-code sites for several catalog titles. They are linked openly in the footer under "Game guide sites we run" and from the relevant profiles, so that you always know when a link stays inside our own network.
Free-to-play, explained without the marketing
All ten released games in the catalog are marked free-to-play on Steam: the base game downloads and runs at no cost, and Steam itself lists no price for it. That is the whole promise, and it is a real one — but "free" describes the entry ticket, not the economy. These games fund themselves through in-game currency, time-limited events, battle-pass-style tracks and, on some titles, paid DLC.
The DLC count in each Key Facts table is the most honest single number for how deep the paid layer goes. Lust Goddess lists 53 DLC entries and Everlusting Life 32; the Passion Panda Publishing titles — Lustquake Legion, Mafia Queens, Wet Wealth, Milf Solitaire, Slut Squad and Harem of Lust: Battle Cards — list none at the time of verification. None of that changes whether you can play: it changes how the game will try to convert you once you are in. Profiles describe the monetization loop as far as the developer's own materials and announcements make it visible.
Where these games actually run
Platform support is taken from the Steam record, not from marketing pages. Windows is universal. macOS builds are listed for Lust Goddess, Passion Industry, Horny Villa, Everlusting Life, Mafia Queens, Milf Solitaire and Slut Squad. Horny Villa is the only title with a native Linux build. Lustquake Legion, Wet Wealth and Harem of Lust: Battle Cards are Windows-only on Steam.
Several of these games also exist outside Steam — as browser versions on the developer's own site or on platforms such as Nutaku, and in some cases as official Android builds. We mention those routes on a profile only when the developer publishes them; we never point to third-party APK mirrors. If a game is playable in the browser, the profile says where the official entry point is.
Minimum PC specifications are quoted from Steam verbatim. Most of the catalog is undemanding — Windows 10/11 with 8 GB of RAM and a DirectX 9-compatible GPU is the typical floor for the 2025–2026 releases, while the two older Pochemu titles list Windows 7 and 4 GB.
18+, safety and privacy basics
Every game here carries Steam's Adult Only Sexual Content descriptor, and most carry the frequent nudity and general mature content descriptors as well; the developers' own descriptor notes are quoted on each profile. To see or install these games on Steam you need an adult account with mature content enabled in your Steam preferences — that is a Steam-side setting, not something a website can switch for you.
AfterDark Plays sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics scripts and asks for no account. When you follow a link to Steam, a developer's site or an affiliate tracking link, that destination's privacy policy applies. The safest way to install any of these games remains the Steam client or the developer's official page; profiles link to both.
Promo codes: the policy in one paragraph
A promo code appears on this site only if the developer published it in an official Steam announcement. We record the announcement date, the stated validity window when one is given, and the date we last checked. Expired codes stay visible and are labelled expired, so you can tell a genuinely quiet period from a page that simply was not updated. The summer 2026 Waifu Gala festival is a good illustration: it produced Steam-only codes for a couple of catalog games with explicit end dates, and the tracker shows exactly that. If a game has no code on record, the tracker says "no active code" rather than inventing one.
Corrections
If a fact on this site is wrong, tell us via the contact page with the profile URL and the contradicting source. Verified corrections are applied at the next rebuild and the page's updated date changes. We do not silently edit: material changes to a promo-code status are appended to the check log rather than overwritten.
Adults only
Every game in the catalog is rated for adults by its developer and carries Steam's adult content descriptors. This site is for readers aged 18 or over, and only where such content is legal. The 18+ notice at the top of every page is not decoration.
Frequently asked questions
Can a developer pay to be listed higher?
No fee buys a position. The five partner-program titles we earn a commission on are grouped first in the catalog and in every best-of list — a commercial grouping we disclose on each list and in the funding section above. Inside each group, and for every other game, the stated criteria decide the order.
Why do you link to your own guide sites?
Because they hold deeper per-game material (walkthroughs, code histories) than a catalog profile should carry — and because hiding the relationship would be dishonest. Every such link is disclosed.
Do you use the game studios' artwork?
Key art shown on profiles belongs to the respective developers and publishers and is used to identify the game. If you are a rights holder and want an image removed, contact us and it will be taken down.
Can I play in a browser instead of installing anything?
For some titles, yes — several developers run browser versions on their own sites or on platforms such as Nutaku. We list a browser route only when the developer publishes it; check the Platforms section of the profile.
Are there Android versions?
Only where the developer distributes an official build. We do not link to third-party APK mirrors or modified installers under any circumstances, because they are a common malware and account-theft vector.
Why are there no scores or star ratings?
Because we have not measured anything that a score would honestly represent. Best-of lists are ordered, after the disclosed partner-first grouping, by explicit criteria — release date, platform coverage, DLC depth, update cadence — that you can verify against the Key Facts table of each entry.
What about the games marked coming soon?
Lust Frontiers' Steam page is listed as coming soon and returns no public app record, so there is no verifiable release date, platform list or spec sheet yet. Isekai: Waifu Overlord has a public page with a September 16, 2026 date. Both profiles are limited to what is confirmed and will be expanded on release.
Which games run on macOS or Linux?
According to Steam: macOS builds exist for Lust Goddess, Passion Industry, Horny Villa, Everlusting Life, Mafia Queens, Milf Solitaire and Slut Squad. Horny Villa is the only catalog game with a native Linux build. Lustquake Legion, Wet Wealth and Harem of Lust: Battle Cards are Windows-only.
Do any of these games have paid DLC?
Yes. Lust Goddess lists 53 DLC entries on Steam and Everlusting Life 32 — typically cosmetic mascot and outfit packs. The Passion Panda Publishing titles list no DLC at the time of verification.
Which game is the newest?
Mafia Queens, released on Steam on August 14, 2026. Its launch announcement credited the release to passing 50,000 wishlists. Wet Wealth (June 12, 2026), Milf Solitaire (April 30, 2026) and Lustquake Legion (April 27, 2026) are the other 2026 releases.
What is the difference between the catalog and the best-of lists?
The catalog is the complete record: one profile per game with verified facts, partner-program titles shown first. Best-of lists are editorial selections for a specific question — free games on Steam, games with macOS builds, games with active promo codes — each with its criteria stated at the top.
How do I report an error?
Use the contact page and include the profile URL and the source that contradicts us. Verified corrections are applied at the next rebuild and the profile's updated date changes accordingly.
Is it legal and safe to play these games?
They are distributed through Steam, which applies its own age and regional rules, and the developers state that all characters are adults. Whether adult content is legal to access depends on where you live; if it is not, or if you are under 18, this site and these games are not for you.
