Isekai: Waifu Overlord is a free-to-play adult village-builder from Passion Panda and GreenT, published by Passion Panda Publishing. It went live on Steam (App 3850550) for Windows and macOS on September 25, 2026. It also runs on Nutaku, since July 16, 2026, in PC and mobile browsers and as an Android APK, and as a standalone browser build at isekaiwaifuoverlord.com.
All three routes are free to start, with optional in-game purchases.
Steam switched the game from coming soon to released on September 25, 2026, the date its store page had listed in advance. The publisher credited the release to 100,000 wishlists, reached on September 22, and added full English and Russian voice acting as a “release bonus”; no promo code came with it.
At launch the interface languages went from 10 to 22, adding Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and eight more, and Steam now counts 66 achievements; there is still no DLC or Steam Cloud, and the requirements did not change. Before that came a demo on October 7–8, 2025 ahead of Steam Next Fest (no demo is offered today) and a wishlist climb from 65,000 on July 28, 2026 past 80,000 by August 31.
The Nutaku version, live since July 16, 2026, offers PC browser, mobile browser, an Android APK and a sideloaded iOS version, all with a Nutaku account; Nutaku credits MobiGames as developer and publisher, Steam credits Passion Panda and GreenT.
The standalone browser build at isekaiwaifuoverlord.com opens behind an 18+ notice; its operator, IT Delaza EOOD of Bulgaria, also runs Harem Villa. The two browser routes put the game on our browser games list. The developers have not said whether progress carries over between Steam, Nutaku and the browser build.
Steam files it under Adventure, Casual, RPG and Simulation. The setup is classic isekai: an office worker dies under a truck, the goddess Divitaya pulls him into another world, and he becomes her Apostle, master of a settlement and a squad of women — starting with Lily, an elf archer; Nyakol, a cat-girl; Mirabella, a battle priestess; and Maddie, who runs the tavern.
You grow the settlement through buildings, resources and supply lines; equip and upgrade a squad and send it against monsters; and raise relationships through dates that unlock animated 18+ scenes, story cards and gallery entries. Rare artifacts and gambling-style mini-games pay out resources and gifts. Nutaku calls it an NSFW idle RPG. It shares only a publisher with Mafia Queens.
Steam flags the page Adult Only. The developers' descriptor lists crude language, sexual content, BDSM and nudity, states that every character is over 18 and consenting, and names public and group encounters, vaginal sex and costume role-play. Nothing in it involves minors or non-consent. On Steam the page appears only to accounts with mature content enabled; the browser build asks for its own 18+ confirmation.
Steam lists it as Free to Play with In-App Purchases and no price, bundle or DLC; Nutaku lists it at no cost. The game uses Summon Tickets, Gems, an in-game bank and a Battle Pass, and in April 2026 the publisher gave every player 20 Summon Tickets and later 200 Gems, no code needed. The first Steam Battle Pass, built around Ophelia, runs September 25 to October 15, 2026, with no price named. On Steam: Windows and macOS, no Linux. Windows minimum is Windows 10 or 11, an x86/x64 CPU with SSE2, 8 GB RAM, a DirectX 9 graphics card, 2 GB of storage and broadband; recommended is an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Mac minimum is macOS High Sierra, an Apple M1 or Intel Core M chip, 4 GB RAM, an 8-core GPU, broadband and 4 GB of storage.
Nutaku's browser version needs only Chrome and 2 GB or more of RAM and shows 15 languages. Its Android and iOS builds are files from Nutaku; there is no Google Play or App Store version.
The Steam store page is not available in Germany, even though the game lists German among its 22 languages — the same as for Horny Villa and Passion Industry, while Austria, Switzerland and the UK see the listing normally. Players in Germany can use the Nutaku version, whose listing includes German, or the standalone browser build.
Since launch the Steam feed has been all events and passes: In the Heart of the Underground (September 25–29, 2026) with Uzura, matriarch of a drow faction; Clarissa's Event, Intermission for Two! (September 25–October 9); the Ophelia – The Necromancer in Love! Battle Pass (September 25–October 15); and Her Highness's Whim! (October 1–6), a PvE event with the princess Rosalind von Eisenthal. A Discord server opened on September 24, and no patch notes have been posted yet.
Before launch the calendar ran on Nutaku: a Japanese Festival fishing event with Miyuki (July 31–August 13), a Royal Challenge with Rosalind (August 27–September 1) and a Battle Pass built around the Legendary Vendetta (September 14–October 11). Steam got Ophelia's pass instead.
Try it if you like fantasy village-builders with a dating layer, squad battles and voiced heroines. Hold off if you need progress to carry over between versions or want the Steam version in Germany; skip it if you want published summon rates, a Linux build or an app-store version.
