Which adult games on Steam carry an RPG or Strategy tag, cost nothing to install and are already out? Five in the AfterDark Plays catalog do. This list is for players who want a tactical or role-playing layer — squad building, elemental counters, board positioning — rather than a pure merge, idle-clicker or visual-novel loop.
How we ranked this
A game qualifies when its Steam genre tags include RPG or Strategy and it is out on Steam. Five games pass: Everlusting Life, Lust Goddess, Horny Villa, Isekai: Waifu Overlord and Slut Squad. They are ordered by:
- Steam DLC count, highest first — a plain sign of how established a game is and how much its developer keeps adding to it.
- Latest developer announcement, newest first, when two games list the same DLC count.
Games tagged only Adventure and/or Casual appear under Adjacent picks; RPG- or Strategy-tagged games that are not out yet appear under Coming soon.
Partner games — the ones we earn a commission on, listed on our About page — come first; within each group the order follows the criteria above. No game pays for its position.

Everlusting Life tops this list on its paid-content layer: Steam lists 55 DLC for it, the most of any game here. Developed and published by Pochemu LTD, it released on May 8, 2025 for Windows and Mac and carries six genre tags: Action, Adventure, Massively Multiplayer, RPG, Strategy and Free To Play.
It is built as an auto-chess RPG: you draft maidens each round and place them on a hex board, and matching factions and classes across your lineup triggers the bonuses that decide each auto-resolved fight. Through September 2026 it added an Awakening character event and a Time Rift story chapter each week, and the September 21 Version 7.0.0 update brought a Conquest mode with Officers and Guilds. See the Everlusting Life profile and its Steam page.
Best for: Auto-chess fans who want board positioning and the deepest paid-content catalog here.
-
Lust Goddess shares Everlusting Life's six tags and its developer and publisher, Pochemu LTD, but ranks second because Steam lists 53 DLC for it against Everlusting Life's 55. It released on February 21, 2024 for Windows and Mac.
Where Everlusting Life is auto-chess, Lust Goddess plays card-first: you recruit mercenaries around a Commander and fight turn-based battles in which Fire, Water, Earth and Light types each counter one of the others, so composition matters more than raw level. The twelve announcements it posted between September 16 and October 1, 2026 brought three Commander pairs (Marcela and Kendra, Bernice and Morgan, Wanda and Desiree), themed mercenary events and 24-hour hires, a Virtual Maze story mission, a Halloween Festival and an October roadmap. The base game is free; DLC and in-app purchases sit on top. See the Lust Goddess profile and its Steam page.
Best for: Players who want card-first battles, a deep DLC catalog and near-daily updates.
-
Horny Villa is tagged Casual, RPG, Strategy and Free To Play on Steam. Its paid layer is thin: Steam lists one DLC, an artbook released on August 31, 2026, rather than in-game content — one more than the two games below, so it ranks third. Developed by GreenT and published by Nutaku Publishing, it has been on Steam since November 7, 2024 for Windows, Mac and Linux, the only native Linux build in this ranking.
The tags describe a merge-and-management loop: you merge matching items on a board to earn resources, then spend them renovating a villa and unlocking characters rather than fighting battles. New characters arrive through dated contract events and Battle Passes instead of paid DLC: ten between June 18 and August 28, 2026, then a space-themed Battle Pass and an Oktoberfest event in September. See the Horny Villa profile and its Steam page.
Best for: Players who want Windows, Mac and Linux builds and no gameplay DLC.
-
Isekai: Waifu Overlord carries the RPG tag alongside Adventure, Casual, Simulation and Free To Play, and joined this list when it released on Steam on September 25, 2026 for Windows and Mac. Developed by Passion Panda and GreenT and published by Passion Panda Publishing, it lists zero DLC, level with Slut Squad on the first criterion.
The RPG side is a squad of heroines you equip, upgrade and send against monsters, wrapped around a settlement you build up and relationships you level through dates. Its latest announcement, on October 1, 2026, is a PvE event starring the princess Rosalind von Eisenthal (October 1–6) — newer than Slut Squad's latest, which puts it fourth. See its profile page and Steam page.
Best for: Players who want the newest release here: squad battles, village-building, voiced heroines.
-
Slut Squad shares Horny Villa's Casual, RPG, Strategy and Free To Play tags but lists zero DLC, tying Isekai: Waifu Overlord on the first criterion. Developed by Passion Panda and GreenT and published by Passion Panda Publishing, it arrived on Steam on December 1, 2025 for Windows and Mac.
It plays as an idle merge: you recruit, merge and level up a crew of thieves, then spend the haul building a hideout between heists. Its latest announcement, on September 25, 2026, opened a pirate-themed event running to October 1 — six days older than Isekai: Waifu Overlord's latest post, so Slut Squad is fifth. See the Slut Squad profile and its Steam page.
Best for: Players who want an idle-merge heist loop with short, themed character events.
Adjacent picks: a strategic card game just outside the RPG/Strategy tags
Harem of Lust: Battle Cards plays close to strategy without the tag: Steam lists it as Adventure, Casual and Free To Play, so it is named here rather than ranked. Developed by Asomgames and published by Passion Panda Publishing, it released on July 16, 2025 for Windows. It is a collectible card game built around assembling a deck and chaining combos, the skill set RPG and strategy players tend to look for. Steam's content descriptor marks it as explicit 18+ material and lists BDSM among its themes. See the Harem of Lust: Battle Cards profile and its Steam page.
Coming soon: RPG- and Strategy-tagged games that haven't shipped yet
Lust Age carries an RPG tag (with Adventure and Free To Play) and Nudus a Strategy tag (with Free To Play), so both would qualify on tags, but neither is out on Steam yet — their store pages are still marked coming soon. Both come from Hooligapps: Lust Age lists only “2026” as its release window, Nudus November 11, 2026. Each has had a separate Steam demo since June 14, 2026 and already runs as a browser game on the developer's own site. Both will be ranked like the games above once they ship. See the Lust Age and Nudus profiles.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a game 'RPG' or 'Strategy' on this list?
Its Steam genre tags must include RPG or Strategy, and it must already be out on Steam.
Which of these games has the most DLC?
Everlusting Life, with 55 DLC on Steam, just ahead of Lust Goddess with 53. Horny Villa lists one, a paid artbook, and Isekai: Waifu Overlord and Slut Squad list none. DLC count sets this list's order, and the newest announcement breaks ties.
Slut Squad and Isekai: Waifu Overlord both show zero DLC. Does that mean they have less content?
It means less paid DLC, not less content. Both add characters through dated, time-limited events and Battle Passes instead of paid expansions, and each posted a new event on September 25, 2026.
Is Harem of Lust: Battle Cards a strategy game?
Steam doesn't tag it that way — its genres are Adventure, Casual and Free To Play — so it is named under Adjacent picks for its deckbuilding and combos rather than ranked.
Isekai: Waifu Overlord is the newest release here — where does it rank?
Fourth. With zero DLC it sits behind Horny Villa and ties Slut Squad; its latest post, on October 1, 2026, is newer than Slut Squad's of September 25, which puts it ahead.
